The Executive Director represents the Executive Board in the day-to-day operation of the Association, overseeing a network of Chapter volunteers and contractors located throughout the country in accordance with the Association’s Constitution and By-laws. The Executive Director counsels the Executive Board on matters related to policies and issues affecting AAPI law enforcement officers at the local, state and federal levels. The Executive Director also serves as the lead advocate for the Association’s mission and vision through liaison with legislative and judicial representatives, local, state and federal agencies, corporate entities, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and Not-For-Profit organizations.
